Naqi massage wax – a favorite in choosing a massager!

To perform high-quality massage and various soft tissue techniques, therapists use massage products – massage lotions, oils, creams, as well as massage wax. Massage products improve the quality of massage therapy, creating a deeper massage effect, and also give the therapist more control over massage techniques and movements. Each therapist may have their own advantages in choosing a massager, depending on the techniques of the therapist. Each massager has its own unique advantages, so it’s no wonder that other therapists will keep in their arsenal all these massagers.

But what, then, are the main differences?

Massage lotion is suitable for small areas or quick massage, as the consistency of the lotion is lighter than that of massage creams or oil. Massage lotions are usually absorbed into the skin quite quickly, so it is not really suitable for longer massage procedures. The lotion can be well used for lighter or more superficial massage techniques.

Massage oils can be used for longer massage procedures, as the oil is not absorbed into the skin so quickly. From personal experience as a physiotherapist – I usually prefer massage creams or massage wax, as these products provide the best control over massage techniques, allow for deeper soft tissue massage, allow you to work most effectively on trigger points, and are also relatively economical.

If we compare the prices of massage products – usually massage lotions and oils tend to be cheaper than massage creams and wax. However, massage creams and waxes are relatively economical to use – these massagers are not absorbed so easily into the skin and therefore a relatively small amount of cream or wax is required for one massage procedure.

Naqi massage wax – one of the main favorites in choosing a massager!

Naqi massage wax – is a mixture of fine oils carefully selected to guarantee excellent control of soft tissue therapy. In the work of a physiotherapist, I work a lot with massage and soft tissue techniques. 90% of my patients are athletes, so I often have to deal with soft tissue injuries, tightened muscles, fascia problems, trigger points, etc. Naqi massage wax is quite universal, as it can be used at any massage. Massage wax is not sticky, has a pleasant, thick consistency. Using massage wax, any massage and soft tissue techniques can be performed. It gives you great control over your movements and allows you to perfectly “catch” the points you need.

If we resort to myofascial techniques or fascia techniques, then massage wax is an excellent choice. Massage wax provides very good control, grip or “grip”, so it is easy to work with the fascia – it can be treated with various non-specific massage techniques, as well as stretched and otherwise mobilized.

Often I also use other accessories when massaged, such as vacuum massage banks or fascia knives, or IASTM. Both for vacuum banking techniques and for the use of fascia knives, a thick massager is needed and massage wax is most often used. In order for the vacuum bank not to be statically placed on the skin, it needs a sliding surface. That is why massage wax is very useful, because using it, you can perform vacuum bank pulling techniques, lifting the skin and stretching the fascia – it provides excellent mobilization of the fascia and skin, as well as promotes local blood supply.

If we are thinking about the use of fascia knives, then excellent control and “grip” are important here. Fascia knife techniques are designed to promote fascia mobilization, stretching and blood supply. Therefore, without massage wax, these techniques will not be of sufficient quality.
