With this orthosis, the foot is held in a neutral position, as it contributes to the dorsiflexy of the foot. Active Ankle foot orthosis helps relieve pain and discomfort, which is characteristic in the morning due to plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the lower tissues of the foot). In addition, Active Ankle DNA Dorsal Night Splint can also be used for any of these states or virtually any other condition in which stabilization of the ankle in the neutral position is desirable.
