FASCIQ Sport Vacuum Banking Kit
The FASCIQ Sports vacuum bank set includes 4 vacuum banks: 2 large and 2 small with the help of which you can treat mobility and movement disorders of the fascia. With vacuum banks you can grab, pull, and push the tissues of the fascia. These vacuum banks are made of silicone and are easy to keep clean and sterile.
Product Description:
Tip: when applying massage wax or cream for vacuum therapy, it is easier to move the banks on the skin.
How do vacuum banks work?
The use of vacuum banks creates a decompressive effect in the tissues just below the application site. Tissue lift caused by the vacuum effect can be a different stimulus for tissues and the nervous system, and for some people it can be a relaxing way to treat tight or painful soft tissues and trigger points. This is the opposite of many other types of manual therapy that usually produce compressive force, such as massage, the use of IASTM tools or flossband.
How to use vacuum banks correctly?
As a rule, most vacuum banks are located for only a few minutes at a time. The lower body (lower back and legs) are usually able to withstand a longer application time, while the upper body (neck, neck and arms) can get an adequate therapeutic effect with shorter application periods.
Occasionally, a small circular bruise will remain in the place where the vacuum bank was. It occurs less frequently in the lower body and less often with a lighter vacuum suction pressure. Bruising is usually not the goal of treatment, but they are more likely to occur in people who bruise easily. With this in mind, this group of people is initially advised to shorten the time of vacuum bank application to test the body’s tolerance to treatment with vacuum banks. Putting vacuum banks on your face/head creates a much higher chance of bruising and is generally not recommended. For this application, it is recommended to use a face vacuum banking kit.
Vacuum banks are designed with movement in mind. As long as the vacuum banks are on the skin, they can be moved while they grasp the lower tissues; or vacuum banks can be left immobile and the parts of the body to which they are attached.
